The patient is a cancer patient who was graduating from his master’s program yesterday. Unfortunately, because he was in the hospital he wasn’t going to be able to attend his graduation for a master’s degree he worked so hard in. His wife expressed how upset he was with his nurse, Ashley, and this is when she got to work. With the help of her team they were able to get him graduation balloons, they MADE him a cap with a tassel and gathered everyone to the hall. His nurse then picked him up in a wheelchair from his room and told him they were going to graduation. On the way down the hall they played graduation music, and the whole team was waiting for him, they handed him a diploma they made and even moved his tassel to the other side like they do when you graduate. His wife was able to get this all on camera and both had tears in their eyes because of this gesture of the team.
