Ashley in a creative venture, to get our 16-month-old to cough, brought in bubbles and played with him for and extended time, never giving up on clearing his lungs and put wonderful giggles in the air and a smile on his face in the process. She continued to give us the royal treatment with her kindness. She found a bath tub (and that seemed to work wonders!) She found supplies that could be toys and even gave H a singing light up fire-truck that he continued to play with until his last minutes at the hospital. She is a wonderful example of all of the kindness and amazing service and care we received at CHI. Thank you!

My daughter has been hospitalized for four days so far, and it has brought many big changes and a few scary events to her young life. Through it all, the Peds unit and the nursing staff has been amazing. Ashley has been incredible during our stay. She has brought my daughter toys, taken care of her so I could squeeze in a shower, and been a rock of support for us both. I don't have anyone to swap time with so the nursing staff is almost solely my support system while we are here, and every one of this staff has been incredible.
