First, I am in awe of the health care workers at Memorial Hospital. I witnessed their dedication and professionalism in these trying times. They are all truly heroes.

I would like to express deep gratitude to Ashley. My father was transferred to Memorial from another hospital with a brain bleed. He was in pain, as well as very confused. Ashley recognized this and went above and beyond to calm him and get him comfortable. She worked well beyond her shift to care for him. I don’t think she would have left if he hadn’t calmed down. She took the time to explain to me what had happened, and she answered all my questions with courtesy.

The next day, she was his nurse again. Not only did she care for him, but she also regularly checked in on me to see how I was doing. Though she was working multiple rooms, I never saw her take a break. I felt like my dad was her only patient. Thank you, Ashley, for your kindness and professionalism. I will never forget it.
