Ashley is able to demonstrate excellent performance through her clinical expertise and compassionate care. She has always been a very attentive nurse. She goes above and beyond to assist her patients and coworkers.
I have personally witnessed Ashley take her time feeding a patient that was not getting the proper nutrition by mouth. She was able to show the doctors and other staff members that if time is taken with the patient then she could get the proper nutrition. This showed her patience.
I have also witnessed Ashley assist a patient that appeared cognitively and physically impaired. She helped the patient realize he was able to walk and care for himself when he felt like he could not. This essentially assisted the patient's family with their decision to let the patient go back home since they knew the patient's abilities. She has been known for communicating well with patients and their families.
Ashley has always shown the proper We C.A.R.E attitude along with using the lessons learned through the language of caring before they were implemented into Forrest Health. Ashley Harris's kind personality, work ethic, and nursing skills show that she is a truly extraordinary DAISY Nurse.
