She goes out of her way to show she cares for every student." Also "she goes out of her way within the hospital to get us into an experience we will truly remember. With her empathy, she reaches the student at their level and helps them achieve their goals." Another student wrote: "Ashley made my junior med-surg experience truly exceptional. She was able to foster a respectful, nonjudgmental environment for us." A student reflection stated that "Ashley is not only an amazing teacher, but person as well. Ashley explained everything in detail and was extremely approachable and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better first clinical adjunct and instructor. She taught me so much, and I still think of her tips she provided when I am in the clinical setting. She made such an impact on all of us in our clinical group and created such a positive learning environment." And finally, another student commented "I know that if I can be half of the nurse that Ashley is, I will be a great nurse! Ashley is the best clinical instructor, and she is more than deserving of this award."
