Ashley K Thompson, BSN, RN, CPN

I can’t think of a more deserving person of this award than Ashley. Ashley is present on the floors every day while she makes her rounds to support the Flex Team. She is incredibly flexible with her schedule to accommodate staff and is welcoming to all staff members, including those from other units. Ashley is deeply invested in the Flex Team members and devotes a lot of her time ensuring they meet their career goals. I personally have had multiple conversations with her about how to make my future goals a reality, and she has helped set me up for success. Ashley hears the concerns that staff has and makes changes when change is needed. She has created a culture of trust and compassion within the Flex Team and motivates staff to achieve better outcomes. She advocates for the Flex Team every single day and is a role model for us all. The Flex Team is so lucky to have such a kind and compassionate leader like her!
