Ashley L McPherson, LPN

After working in healthcare for nearly 15 years, you can spot a nurse who really "has it." Ashley is that nurse. She is compassionate with patients and takes her time with each person in the clinic. I have seen her take on new tasks and go beyond for patients nearly every week. In particular, she has gone above her job when doing a home visit with the provider at the Shawsville clinic. She took her time to help clean up the patient's home, providing a bath, and holding her hand when conversations became tough. She truly showed how a nurse should be. I nominate Ashley for the DAISY Award to reflect her unwavering compassion and care for patients.
