Ashley exemplifies the Cerner mission every single day as she goes about her duties as HCE aligned with IU Health in Indiana. Her approach is inclusive, collaborative, and with an extreme dedication to helping to make the IU Health team stronger in how their nurses utilize the EMR in their daily lives. Ashley also exemplifies her commitment to our client through?the selfless act of volunteering to help support IUH's COVID response, not only from the Cerner IS perspective but as a clinician.? She offered her help to the virtual call center and it is just another example of how she repeatedly goes above and beyond.
Ashley is respected well among her peers at IU and has made great strides in aligning with the clinical informatics teams and the nursing leadership structure at IU Health and is not afraid to jump in wherever her help is needed.
When the client brings a question to Ashley she drives for a Cerner model response in all of her interactions and works to ensure the advice given is consistent with the direction the Cerner EMR is taking into the future to both solidify the client configuration and to avoid potential pitfalls later down the road.
Ashley engaged in a wide range of areas with our client not only in nursing areas but also in a wide range of peripheral areas which puts the client at ease knowing we are not engaging in a silo but rather looking at their overall practice and provide guidance. When Ashley hears of a client problem, she quickly engages with Cerner leadership team and participates as a trusted advisor to bring Cerner solutions to their problems forward and to make sure what we provide is the right fit for the client. Ashley engages with all levels of the aligned team at IU Health both internally and externally with the client team. Prior to Ashley joining the Cerner IU health aligned team we had not been able to gain the traction needed to advance our cause in a significant way and this has all changed with her addition. We couldn't do it without her.
