Ashley M Beltran, ADN, SCRN

My mom was in the hospital for nearly two weeks earlier this year. There were so many wonderful nurses but the one that really stood out to me and my family was Ashley. Ashley was patient with me and my siblings as we called several times a day since we were not allowed to visit due to COVID. She was kind, understanding, and sympathetic to my father who thought he was going to lose his wife. I watched her paint another patient's fingernails and take the time to listen to others' frustrations. As a health care provider myself I am a self-proclaimed harsh critic. Ashley navigated my questions with ease and was prompt to get back to me if she didn't know the answer. Her witty humor and calm demeanor made a nearly impossible situation bearable for my family. Ashley, please don't ever lose the beautiful joy that you bring to so many even if they never tell you, because all patients and their families need someone like you.
