Ashley Maudlin 2, RN, BSN

I ended up having a colectomy surgery and was placed in a maternity room. This is how I met my nurse, Ashley, who was working the night shift. She's a sweet young lady and I found out I currently teach her 15-year-old. Besides that, she is an incredible nurse and she didn't want me to miss anything and made sure my vitals were okay. Otherwise, she would have been contacting the doctor. I had her almost every night I was in the hospital, and she was always efficient. She also made sure the fluids I was taking wouldn't hurt my veins and would make some tricks to help me avoid pain. Ashley has a very sweet disposition. She never seemed bothered, tired, or moody. She was always ready to serve and to care! I always felt I was talking to a friend and that a friend was taking care of me. God Bless Her! Ashley is a real nurse and I was blessed to have been taken care of by her.
