Ashley has provided such excellent care since my arrival at this hospital. My first night here, I was an emotional mess. I had come here just one day after being discharged from a different hospital that had not provided proper treatment. I was very ill and scared and I arrived at my room here in tears, feeling very hopeful that I was finally on the right path to healing. I was immediately greeted by Ashley. Even through all the admission requirements, she would take breaks just to listen to everything I had been through and was SO VERY compassionate. She was able to calm my emotional state just by caring enough to listen and understand. I can't say enough about that because I felt like an actual person again here and she was a big part of that. I was blessed to be cared for by Ashley for two nights and on both nights she was caring, made sure I had everything I needed, was funny (I really enjoyed just talking with her), and was just a wonderful presence to be around. Whether she was bringing me applesauce at 11 at night or adding gauze padding to help my comfort level with a recent procedure, she truly always went above and beyond. She walked into my room with a smile on her face every single time. She was the uplifting nurse that I needed to start this journey toward healing. I am truly thankful.
