Ashley N. Engebretson, DNP, RN

I would like to nominate Ashley Engebretson for The DAISY Nurse Leader Award. As the manager of patient flow, Ashley consistently exhibits a calm, reassuring presence when dealing with all things. Many times, I've witnessed the many balls Ashley juggles, the many requests made of her, the many "after-hours" situations requiring her assistance, and the excellent support she gives to her team. She always responds with a style of grace and calmness. Her ultimate concern in these situations is the patient. "What's best for the patient?" is always Ashley’s underlying intent.
