I was readmitted through the ER Thursday morning. Despite a long wait (the ER was very busy) I could not be upset because my nurse, Ashley Naccarato, was so cheerful, and attentive. I was in a great deal of pain and Ashley administered my meds, which did nothing. In my experience,you have to wait long periods and "fight" to get relief when this happens. But Ashley took real concern and got the doctors to approve increasing my pain meds promptly. All the while cheering me on and distracting me from my pain. She made me feel very welcome and I would consider her a great asset to UC Medical. I would hire her in a second for any position that deals directly with the public, even the grouchy old men in a ton of pain who have been waiting for hours as the pain continues to grow.
