Ashley was so kind and gentle with our aunt, who is 97 years old. When she had to do anything to her she explained so she could understand. Our aunt is also blind and is hard of hearing so all of the hospital experience was very frightening. When Ashely saw she didn't understand, she would explain it again. Whenever she saw her call light come on, she answered immediately. Her oxygen sensor wasn't working and Ashley worked a long time till it was transmitting correctly. Any questions I had about her condition were answered kindly. If she didn't know the answer she would find out and report back to me.
I believe she went above and beyond the scope of her duties. She was knowledgeable and very sensitive to my aunt's needs. She is in the right position of helping others and it's more than just a job to her.
