Ashley Overberg went out of her way to care for my daughter. As a chronic medically fragile child she has a lot of medical problems and a permanent account for her meds and treatments. Whenever we come to the hospital it is a constant fight to get Pharmacy who changes all of the med times without asking. S has at least 15 meds. Ashley went out of her way to change all the med times back to S's home schedule and to change all the meds that were ordered PO to "per G tube". This is a big help to us and to S's home nurse who has to spend a day calling all of S's doctors to get the PO changed back to G tube. Ashley also made sure that she understood S's special needs and super Houdini powers. She was always interested in knowing how we did things at home so she could do it that way too. She was truly a patient, family centered care nurse!
