Ashley took care of one of our patients whom we were waiting on court documents to proceed with care. On the weekend, Ashley showed great compassion for this patient and called her family and all providers on the team to help ease the patient’s fears. The patient cried every time cares were attempted. Ashley sat at the bedside and consoled this patient and did what she could to help make the patient feel more comfortable when they were scared and didn’t understand what was happening. Ashley always makes sure to advocate for her patients and their best interest and needs. We need more nurses like Ashley on the front lines.
