We came into the Labor and Delivery unit; my girlfriend had severe preeclampsia, and her life was on the line, literally.
Ashley, from the jump, was so supportive and calm and most of all, professional. There was not one ounce of fear being portrayed from her, and it made my girlfriend feel at ease. She was very prompt with everything and made our transition from not knowing that we were going to deliver to finding out we were when we weren't even expecting it.
She is the only nurse on the unit who stayed in the room for an extended period of time and talked with my girlfriend, and it's completely genuine.
She truly exemplifies a true professional and compassionate person. We can't thank her enough and will definitely be stopping back to give her a gift that she has earned and deserves.
