Ashley had a patient who was nearing end of life. The patient had a wife of many years who was apprehensive to come to the hospital because she needed a wheelchair (which she didn't have) and also had no ride or transportation. Ashley called security since it was a weekend and arranged a ride for the patient's wife. It was very important to Ashley to make sure that this patient's wife was able to visit with him once his passing seemed imminent during her shift. She went above and beyond to allow this patient’s wife to see him before he passed away. She even told the wife to call when she arrived so she could personally find a wheelchair and assist her to the room. Ashley should be so proud of her efforts for this couple
