I cannot thank you both so much for the care you have shown me!!! I know it's your job but you two went above and beyond and beyond what I ever expected to make me feel comfortable. You both deserve a medal or something!!! I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are amazing!!! As is all the staff, but you two made a real impact on me. Hopefully, I won't have to see you in here again but it was my pleasure to be a pain in your butts. Thanks again!! Keep up the amazing work.

Ashley cared for my dad the majority of his five-day hospital stay following a femur fracture. This was his first hospitalization in close to 50 years. Ashley was very patient with his many questions and built a very trusting relationship with him as he prepared for surgery, and then postoperatively through his transition to Rehab at Foxwood Springs. As Ashley cared for him each day, she displayed compassion in an unrushed yet efficient manner.
She went out of her way to discuss his care and progress with family members, especially my sister who came from out of town to be with him so I could return to work. My sister was anxious and unsure about his post-op course as she is not a healthcare worker. Ashley again built trust and displayed confidence by communicating in an unrushed, caring manner. One day I called her and happened to reach her while she was busy, she promised she would call me back and she did, within just a few minutes and assured me I was not bothering her.
Ashley is the epitome of caring for the whole patient, including unsure, concerned family members. I understand that she will be a mentor for nursing students on the unit, what a wonderful role model of the professional nurse!
