Ashley Schukow, RN

Ashley Schukow was one of my son’s nurses when he was in room 359. She was not only a great nurse, but she went above and beyond the role of nurse. She played with my son when the days got long and my baby got restless; this means so much to a momma’s heart. When my son needed a bath, she went and found a tub to bring into his room so he could splash and play like a 16-month-old, even with being confined to a hospital room. When I really needed 10 minutes to go get a coffee, she watched and played with my son, and he was smiling at her when I came back in. I’m a nurse myself and I have to say I’ve worked with and interacted a lot with nurses, and I will forever be grateful we got one as special as Ashey. Thank you for being there in the scariest of times and thank you for being you!
