Ashley Smith consistently demonstrates clinical excellence and professionalism, and creates a demeanor that makes us proud to be nurses. It gives us great pleasure to work with Ashley in the many capacities as an anesthesiologist, RN, PACU RN, Surgical Tech, and Same Day Nursing. For the past several months Ashley has served as the OR Clinical Coordinator in our organization and her consistent level of patient acuity, hospital and medical knowledge, and clinical adeptness in this setting has indeed been outstanding.
Ashley stands as an advocate ready to share collective experiences and some of the best thinking towards preserving the integrity of physicians, nurses, and patients alike—part of our mission at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. Her interpersonal skills and physicians interactions are superb.
Most importantly, she displays considerable management resources, which are key to the success of any industry. We have watched Ashley take advantage of opportunities and challenges and make them "come to life". Mostly in her ability to collaborate with hospital leaders and add the inertia needed to facilitate core values, form relationships, and protect the interest of physicians and care providers in our institution.
Ashley's calming attitude and compassionate nature provide the necessary support needed for developing our staff. There are always going to be ongoing needs to enhance medical professionals' skills and to identify and treat the distressing issues that all hospitals encounter. We cannot dismiss the impact that Ashley has made on MHSC and her ability to take performance to the next level.
We are confident that Ashley will serve as a great model to other Nurses, as well our program, in which she has already demonstrated to our medical community.
