I would like to show my appreciation to Nurse Ashley for helping me get through a particularly rough few nights in the hospital. I was in an extreme amount of pain and feeling very frustrated with the situation. It was her excellent communication skills, unparalleled compassion, and human kindness that helped me through this difficult ordeal. She was such a great advocate for my well-being and improved care, and I will always be so grateful for her. Even though she was very busy a couple of nights with patients who needed her far more than I did, she always made sure that I was well taken care of. Being a nurse is a very stressful occupation, and not everyone has what it takes to provide excellent patient care. Miss Ashley is just one of those very special, rare human beings who was built for this. She gave me hope when I had lost mine and made me laugh when all I felt like doing was crying. I am so grateful for you, Ashley!
