June 2026 Honoree
Ashley Stevens 2026, RN
I am a provider at CMA with SIH.
My father had a long battle with ampullary cancer. He found himself in the ICU at Memorial within the last two days of his life. My dad fought so hard and wanted to go home to pass peacefully.
Ashley provided the most amazing end-of-life care and was the sole reason we were able to get Dad home to take his last breath where he wished.
Ashley rode with the ambulance transport to manage my dad's pressers. Once Dad got home, he took one last look around and peacefully went to heaven within 10 minutes. My family cannot thank Ashley enough for offering to ride with him in the ambulance. She is an exceptional nurse.
She even took the time to reach out to me the day after Dad got home. Ashley deserves the DAISY Award immensely.
I will forever remember the care she provided my father and will never be able to repay her amazing efforts.
