My wife and I are very grateful for your professional caring and advice during my stay. You most certainly gave me hope and reassured my faith in the RI Hospital nursing staff. Healing starts with nurses like you. Thank you.

This is the 11th surgery that I've had and I can tell you that every nurse that you hire should be just like Ashley. She is THE BEST nurse I have ever had. She listens to what you say when you talk to her and ask for something. She also remembers to bring it to you when she says she will. I was mentioning how frizzy my hair looked and how terrible all around that I looked. When I went into the bathroom to wash up, she came into the bathroom and asked for my brush. She proceeded to braid my hair and make it look awesome. She is so nice and I feel like I have known her my whole life. She seems to have a very nice and friendly personality! I was upset because I had a catheter in and when it came out I couldn't pee. She talked to me and calmed me down, as I was crying. She told me that she really believed that I would pee. You know what? She was correct! She fixed one of my IVs. It was crooked. She put a mesh cover over it so it would stay put and I wouldn't get caught on it and rip it out. She took me on walks when the rehab lady cleared me for home. She said she wanted to help me build up my legs so I can get around. As much as I'm happy that I'm going home, I really am going to miss her and our chats. Awesome Lady!!

Ashley is simply amazing! She exceeds every requirement under the sun in regard to The DAISY Award! Amazing, unconditional nurse! Ashley has made sure that my stay has been peaceful ever since that night of surgery. Whenever I needed anything, from understanding my medications to respecting my feelings when I have been in pain, Ashley was there. It is so nice to have someone by my side to make sure I am heard, cared for, not too stressed out, and to be shown respect. I honestly believe that Ashley should be recognized for her services. When she shows up for her shift, I light up and know I will be taken care of in the best way. As a former caregiver, she literally makes sure that you have a better understanding that, this too shall pass, with her inspiring words of wisdom. Every day is an even brighter day because I know that I will get over these obstacles and I'll be even stronger than ever. She is a great role model, I appreciate her so much and I'll never forget Ashley. She is a leader, a great role model, and a wonderful nurse who will make sure you are the happiest you can be.
