she takes it on full speed ahead, meeting the patient's needs, and connecting with them on a personal level. Working exhausting 12+ hour shifts and overcoming daily adversity, she gives hope and encouragement while helping our patients with their diverse discharge needs.
Ashley Tatum has been with Crestwood for over 22 years, starting as a LPN and furthering her education by obtaining her BSN and MSN. As a most loyal employee, she has remained invested in our company's success, always working towards meeting the Case Management goals. She believes in where our team/organization is headed and how we want to reach our expectations. She proves this every day by her actions as she always seeks to do the right thing for our patients.

Her experience, knowledge, and leadership make her an exemplary employee. Ashley has been covering the entire hospital as an RN Case Manager, Discharge Planner on the weekends for years. It is a task that is quite overwhelming. However, she takes it on full speed ahead, meeting the patient's needs, and connecting with them on a personal level. Working exhausting 12+ hour shifts and overcoming daily adversity, she gives hope and encouragement while helping our patients with their diverse discharge needs.
She is a lifeline with all the physicians. Ensuring positive patient outcomes, she is given the same duties on weekends that are normally performed by 6-7 others daily. She is not only tasked to see all of the new patients admitted overnight, but is also required to make certain a safe discharge plan is carried out for all patients leaving this institution each day.
Recently to advance her career, she has taken on the UR Case Management role and is excelling with this as well. I can't begin to describe her influence/knowledge she shares with the weekend staff and physicians. I can't begin to describe all of the issues that she faces each weekend. I can't begin to tell you what is asked of her to "fix" at a moment's notice. I can go on and on!
