She shows an unwavering commitment to our patients and staff, going above and beyond in every interaction.
I have had the privilege of working with MAJ Torrence and have witnessed first-hand her dedication to ethical nursing and leadership. She shows an unwavering commitment to our patients and staff, going above and beyond in every interaction. She provides a sense of calm and reassurance in what can be a very demanding and challenging environment. MAJ Torrence also plays an instrumental role in advancing nursing education. For example, she presents at conferences, like the Pacific Regional 38th Parallel Training Healthcare Symposium which produces Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) credits, and hospital nurse skills fairs that promote Individual Critical Task List (ICTL) competencies. As an ALS Program Director, MAJ Torrence ensured healthcare staff received the training and support needed to succeed in their respective roles. Furthermore, she embodies the Army Core Values and is an exceptional CRNA who consistently delivers compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care that makes a significant difference in the lives of our patients. She is a valuable asset to our healthcare team and fully deserving of recognition for her contributions to nursing excellence and ethics.
