Ashley always goes above and beyond expectations for ALL of her patients. One example of Ashley demonstrating extraordinary care was after a patient's family has just been informed of their child's poor prognosis and only given him a few weeks to live. The family requested to bring their child back to their country to be with family. Ashley compiled all of the paperwork for a passport and information in order for it to happen. She also stayed with the family throughout her shift, offering emotional support, as well as company during the parents difficult time. She showed nothing but care and compassion for this grieving family and definitely deserves a DAISY Award.
