April 2024 Honoree
Ashley Watkins, RN
Ashley treated me in the ED. I had a seizure and came in via ambulance. I was not coherent and was aggressive. I don’t recall any of it, but my mother and sister took a picture of the board to make sure they didn’t forget Ashley. My family said she was beyond patient, kind, and attentive. She kept them in the loop with everything that was going on. She not only frequently checked on me but frequently asked my family how they were, if they needed anything, etc. Ashley is the epitome of what all nurses should strive to be like! She has true compassion and patient well-being as her priorities! My sister said she also had some pretty awesome Texas earrings on!
Thank you, Ashley, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
