I wanted to give a shout-out to Ashley Wethington for being on top of our trach patient a couple of weeks ago. She kept an eye on her and alerted us immediately whenever she was concerned about the status of the patient’s trach or the patient’s respiratory status. I was so thankful to have her there to do whatever she could to help us out with this patient’s situation. Ashley is a great nurse, and I was very impressed with her and grateful for her being there by our side with her help.

Ashley is an extraordinary nurse and person. She cared for my mother in her last few weeks of life. The care she gave my mother was simply amazing in every way. She is one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever had the chance to meet. She made sure Mom was comfortable and presentable on those last few days. I have described her to my family as an angel who fell from heaven. We are so lucky she landed in Shelbyville.
