The process of losing my mother was very hard and Ashlie was very understanding, helping me in so many ways to find peace in what was happening.
Ashlie was my mother's nurse during her final days and deserves to be recognized for the love and compassion she showed not only to my mom but also to our family. She gave us comfort in what we were experiencing, and words could never describe the love, care, and compassion Ashlie showed us during this time.
I believe God has put her in this career as an angel here on earth. She is an amazing nurse and a beautiful human being. I truly believe she was chosen to be my mom's nurse. During this time, we were given many signs to validate this like knowing my mom's nickname without being told and her having a bee tattoo.
I found so much comfort in knowing she was the one caring for her because I knew she was being treated as if she was one of her own family members. The process of losing my mother was very hard and Ashlie was very understanding, helping me in so many ways to find peace in what was happening. I knew she would do everything possible so my mom would not feel any pain or suffering while she was passing.
Due to the COVID restrictions in place, we were not allowed to visit. Ashlie was AWESOME in communicating with us and did everything she possibly could to make sure we could spend time with her towards the end of her life. She went above and beyond her duties as an RN which proves to me that she is truly there for her patients and their families no matter how hard the end result will be. Ashlie will always have a special place in my heart and I could never thank her enough for everything she has done for us!
