Ashlyn Bellisario, BSN, RN
My wife was admitted on Tuesday. Needless to say, we were scared to death. I'm not saying the other nurses weren't nice, but Ashlyn brought this feeling of calming, caring, and true sense to me.
She certainly lives up to the two patron Saints of nursing, St. Agatha and St. Camillus. She ALWAYS had a smile on her face, no matter what task lay ahead of her to care for my wife. She always asked when she left her bedside, "Is there anything you need or anything I can bring you?" She brought a sense of calmness and caring, and my family always felt at ease knowing my wife was in good hands.
Ashlyn is a great representative of the nursing community in general and of AHN and Jefferson Regional Hospital. She certainly deserves to be recognized for her excellent performance.
