My daughter was born with a spina bifida occulta. She was admitted to Almoosa at birth and has been in her bed for 23 years in the Long Term Care Facility. Since day one, all the staff have been so empathetic about her case.
The team dealt with our situation with full care, respect, and sincerity. Some of the nurses consider my daughter a friend, sister, and daughter. Thus, it makes us comfortable and at peace every time we leave our daughter after visiting time. We feel that she lives in a place like her parents' home.
My daughter gets special support, fast responses, and quality service daily. Whenever nurses go on vacation to their home country, they usually visit her and express their feelings and wishes to see her soon. My daughter has learned languages such as Tagalog, Hindi, English, and more, as nurses were teaching her their language.
I sincerely appreciate the initiatives and concerns of Almoosa Specialist Hospital in supporting the arrangement of a birthday party for my daughter through the nurses and social workers. These nurses help each other, and they create a wonderful atmosphere for my daughter and my family.
Moreover, ASH always invites my daughter to attend some of the special gatherings in the hospital. Most importantly, I would like to acknowledge the generosity of the CEO of ASH, Mr. Malek, for covering the treatment expenses of my daughter in addition to naming the pediatric clinics after my daughter's name.
Finally, I would like to thank this great organization, and special thanks to the LTC nurses, as well as the social workers, physiotherapists, and doctors, who do an amazing job.
