May 2011 Honoree
asuka nemoto, RN
Asuka Nemoto- 4SW Oncology
My father-in-law had terminal cancer. He was in and out of The UCLA Hospital for 4 agonizing months. Throughout that time, I got a chance to see a lot of different nurses. Asuka stands in a class of her own. People can tell when a nurse truly cares or is "just doing a job." Asuka is helpful, caring, compassionate, and goes above and beyond to make sure my father-in-law is comfortable. She is by far the best nurse I have ever come across. Please consider my vote to give her a DAISY award because she certainly deserves it.

This is for Asuka Nemoto. Of all the nurses she was by far the best in every category. She was so understanding. She never made us feel like she was ready to leave and always gave us ample time to talk and ask questions. She is also very efficient and knows a lot of things. Please, please, please let her know that she is appreciated. She is a beautiful human being who truly has the heart to be a nurse. Thank you.
