Thinking back on my son's NICU stay, I knew I wanted to do a DAISY nomination, but I could not pick just one person. Each and every employee of the NICU treated us like family and loved him during his stay when we couldn't be with him. From making him Christmas ornaments, decorating his room, and buying him outfits out of their own pockets, he truly was blessed with the best nurses. Even two weeks later, they still check in on him. Everyone deserve recognition for going above and beyond for my family. No mom wants to leave their baby, but there was not a single day I worried about him while he was under their care.
