It's hard to put into words just how difficult it was personally to take off my "anesthesia provider hat" and solely focus on being a father. I was quickly able to do so upon entering the PACU to see my son post T&A from the warm welcome, hand sanitizer pump provided and the use of the VECTA to sooth my son's weariness, I was not only pleased as a provider. I was now at ease and able to focus on being a father. Astede provided my son care with the utmost level of proficiency and attention to detail. I could just say thank you, but her services and commitment to my son's comfort and swift recovery deserves a many thanks along with a nomination of this award. Extraordinary care deserves extraordinary recognition.
