I helped to facilitate Aubree joining the organization a few years ago and knew in my interview that I'd want her to care for my mom, one day. As a recruiter, that can be the ultimate judgment question: "Would I want this potential nurse caring for my family?" How interesting that THAT DAY came this week, and she cared for us perfectly. My mom has had tons of nurses in her life and all were excellent, but she kept saying "She is so nice; she is so friendly; she makes me feel like I'm going to be ok, and I'm in good hands." Bittersweet to be the recruiter (and daughter) that gets to witness that. It was a busy few days on the unit, and we never once felt that we didn't have Aubree's attention, and she never shared how busy she was. Thank you, Aubree, for capturing my mom's heart (and my heart again)!
