Aubrey wrapped her snugly with warm blankets and ensured her that she would stay warm. He was in and out of the room with warm blankets.
I brought my mom to the emergency room for treatment. My mom had just finished her radiation treatment for her cancer. She was dehydrated and had several other issues. Nurse Aubrey had the patience of Job. She was not the happiest or most cooperative patient when she arrived. He was so caring and tried to make my mom feel as comfortable as possible. She had to go to another building for MRI and/or CT scans. It was very cold on that day and she has lost so much weight during her treatments that she stays cold most of the time. He wrapped her snugly with warm blankets and ensured her that she would stay warm. He was in and out of the room with warm blankets. He constantly offered her food and drink, anything he could to soothe her and make her feel better. By the time we left, he had her calm and smiling. She had a great team that evening, but by far Nurse Aubrey is a DAISY Nurse. Many thanks to Nurse Aubrey and the wonderful team of heroes that attended to my mom.
