I have the honor and privilege to nominate Aubry Gilliam for a DAISY Award. Aubry embodies the criteria for this award, always modeling excellence and accountability. Aubry not only provides exceptional nursing care to our pediatric patients and families but also provides outstanding leadership to our department while serving as an assistant nursing manager. She is always prioritizing patient care along with the well-being of her nursing colleagues and staff. Aubry has picked up additional shifts and overnight hours to ensure the schedule is filled while providing extra support to our newer nursing staff. She is always seeking out opportunities for improving patient care and engaging her team in these innovative ideas.
