Aubry J Gray, RN

A patient who is also a soldier & has no other family support than his wife & 2-year-old child was transferred here from another hospital. Now that he has become stable, his wife tried to come see him to bring him some clothes, PJs, and toiletry items; unfortunately, she could not come in with the child. She left the hospital upset & crying. When Aubry found out, she asked the wife to come back & she would go down to get the items.  Instead, Aubry arranged for the patient, who is now stable, to actually go down & spend a few minutes with his wife & child. It was very touching to see them holding hands since they have not been able to see each other for some time & his son in his lap. Aubry really went above & beyond to make an impact for the patient & wife that I'm sure they will never forget.
