Audra Beckemeyer, RN

Audra was one of my nurses during my hospital stay over Christmas. She went above and beyond and made sure I was receiving the best care according to her and her colleagues' abilities. I was admitted onto her floor because I was on high-watch for septic shock. I was confused and felt pretty out of it my entire time admitted, but Audra explained everything she did. Because of her, I was calm and felt confident that I was going to be well taken care of while I was there. She answered every call light that I pressed and didn't hesitate to come in as soon as she was able to fix whatever was going on. I was in a situation that had me feeling nervous and frustrated with previous doctors, and she was able to calm me down and explain anything that I needed explained. I believe that Audra is a DAISY Nurse because she showed the utmost compassion during my stay and kept a peppy attitude even while working during the holidays. Looking back on this traumatizing experience, Audra is someone who will always be a light in a dark situation.
