Audrey is an asset to VDMC, the nursing profession, her team and all her patients in Cardiac Rehab. She builds strong relationships with her patients and in return her patients have come to trust her and look forward to their hour-long sessions with Audrey and others in the cohort. Audrey has sought out ways to continue to improve the care her patient receives by collaborating with other resources such as the dietician and pharmacy to incorporate additional education related to nutrition and/or medications. She also continues to seek out ways to stay at the forefront of Cardiac Rehab by ensuring that she has up-to-date references and education to support her patients. She celebrates the accomplishments of her patients when they 'graduate' from the program while continuing to share additional services that could support healthy living.
