Audrey Leslie, BSN, RN

Audrey Leslie is one of the most compassionate nurses I have had the pleasure of working with and learning from. One of our patients “Mama J” was admitted to our Kahn A antepartum unit. She had been with us since 24 weeks of her pregnancy and will be here until delivery, currently an 8-week stay. Many different nurses have taken care of “Mama J”, but Audrey came in on her day off, had the staff sign and birthday card, organized a birthday party, and brought cake and a gift. Audrey made “Mama J” feel incredibly special and has kept her spirits high during an extremely difficult and stressful time. The compassion she has for all of her patients shows how dedicated she is to her profession as a registered nurse and serves to set an example for other staff.
