March 2026 Honoree
Audriana Williams, LPN
At 36 weeks, I had to have a Cesarean Section. I was unprepared, scared, and overwhelmed; there was so much to process. Our baby girl was born weighing 4lbs 7oz! Experiencing an emergency C-section was frightening and completely unexpected. In a matter of moments, everything changed, and I felt overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of what was happening.
As a mother navigating the postpartum period, I was physically exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, and trying to care for my baby while also healing myself. From the moment Audriana entered my room, she made me feel safe, supported, and truly cared for. She never made me feel rushed or dismissed, and she took the time to listen to my concerns, no matter how small they were. What stood out most was her genuine kindness and empathy. She treated me not just as a patient, but as a person. Her calm presence and encouragement made a lasting impact on my postpartum experience, and I will always be grateful for the role she played during such an important moment in my life. Audriana represents everything that the DAISY Award stands for.
