Audrie Riggs, RN

Audrie cared for my grandfather in his final days on this earth. When he initially came to the 6th floor, he was conscious and alert, and she was so kind and gentle with him. In his final hours, she was back on the floor and his nurse again. Audrie never gave up on trying to get my grandfather comfortable when he was in the terminal restlessness phase and was absolutely miserable. She hit the ground running and didn’t stop until he was calmer. She continued to check on him, not only to provide quality care, but also to care for us. She laughed with us, cried with us, listened to our stories about our Papa, and continued to care for us in his final minutes. Audrie is not just an exceptional nurse; she’s an exceptional person. I’m so thankful she was on our team during some of the hardest days of our lives. Thank you, Audrie, for never giving up on my Papa.
