August Hester, MSN, RN

A recently retired Veteran with 21 years of active duty in the Air Force visited the Covington Community Base Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) for the first time. The Veteran's blood pressure was elevated on arrival at the clinic. Ms. Hester stayed with the Veteran while she got registered into the system and her blood pressure came down. Ms. Hester assisted with getting a consult for a sleep study after the Veteran has tried for several months to unsuccessfully obtain one. The Veteran was appreciative of Ms. Hester's professionalism, customer service skills, expertise, and compassion.
