Augustyn "Gus" Blake, ADN, RN

Our daughter and myself were very impressed with Gus. He welcomed us into the ICU room after my husband‘s bypass surgery. He explained what all of the wires and things were and what was going on with my husband at that moment, he took time with me after our daughter laughed and explained everything. He was able to translate what my husband was trying to say while he was still a little groggy from anesthesia. He took the time, he was very pleasant and deserves The DAISY Award. Thank you, Gus. Gus even came back the next day to check in on my husband even though he wasn’t his nurse.
