July 2015 Honoree
aurora pirrone, RN
In September 2013, my husband and I lost our twin daughters. They were born premature at 23 weeks. Aurora was my nurse a lot of my stay. I became sepsis after I had the twins. When I was crashing she stayed with me holding my hand through all the tests, talking to me, telling me what was happening. I knew she saved my life!
On January 7, 2015, I came in to deliver my son. Again, Aurora was my nurse. It was so comforting to have a familiar face that I trusted there. I knew she would take excellent care of me and my son. She kept me, my husband, and our family so comfortable. She has a way of following protocol while exceeding her patient's needs and expectations. She is always professional yet caring and personable. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a knack for reading people. Our family loves her and trusts her. We thank God for her.
