Aurora Satterly, LPN

Aurora was my nurse stationed on the post-op 5th floor. I was in her care twice – each time after my two carotid surgeries. She kept a watchful eye on me! Aurora was very capable of meeting my needs, and I enjoyed her personality. During the morning of my last stay, I was in the process of receiving medications from a pulmonary nurse when my breakfast arrived. When my room was cleared, I started to bring my breakfast to the bedtable in front of me. Aurora saw that I was having a hard time trying to get everything situated. She came in to help as I was opening the bowl of oatmeal. She offered to heat it. I thankfully accepted! Because of her thoughtfulness, I was able to enjoy the warm oatmeal along with the rest of my breakfast comfortably at my bedtable. These acts of kindness from Aurora did not go unnoticed!
