Auset Williams, RN, BSN
Auset had a very difficult time setting up discharge due to the patient having bed bugs. Auset partnered with social work and the transport company to answer their concerns and the transport was set up. Unfortunately, the patient's personal belongings could not be transported with her, so Auset took it upon herself to personally deliver the patient's belongings to the facility where the patient was staying. Auset displayed the ITEACH values of teamwork, accountability, and courage to assure that her patient was appropriately discharged with all of her belongings.
