Ausra was a nurse for my husband A multiple times. When I first met her, I was impressed with her expertise at her chosen profession. She seemed natural at being a nurse. Imagine my surprise when she told me she had only been a nurse for less than a year. She was so professional I thought she had been a nurse for many years. My husband had multiple needs and was in isolation. It was hard to get a nurse in there when there was a need because the nurses had to put all the PPE gear on and frequently my husband was the last patient attended to at shift change. Ausra made my husband feel like a priority and made him feel genuinely cared for. Anytime he needed her she was there within minutes putting on the PPE and getting in there as fast as she could.

My husband neededto be cleaned and changed multiple times during her shifts and she was always there promptly to get him cleaned up and changed, never complaining at all as to how much my husband needed her. She genuinely cared for his well being and comfort. She made sure to keep me up-to-date with doctor visits and changes in his care. She was always very kind and respectful to both him and me and is an extremely caring individual. I looked forward to seeing her on the days she cared for my husband as I knew he would receive excellent care that day. Ausra is an incredible asset to Rancho Springs a nurse who goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure her patients receive the care they need and deserve. Ausra sets the bar high for what a nurse can and should be.
